Hyaluronic acid in the breast without surgery

The breast augmentation with hyaluronic acid can be performed through different techniques, some of which involve higher or lower risks. Some are invasive, while others are not and require post-operative care. Obviously, the price for enlarging the breasts and its results vary depending on the technique used or the breast filler substance.

In clinical treatments to enhance the breast and improve the quality of a woman’s bust, the goal is to achieve a better appearance and renew feminine beauty. There are processes such as breast reduction or breast surgery that use surgery and incorporate implants to modify and increase size. However, there are some techniques free of side effects or, at most, these are minimal.

In this article, we will explain how hyaluronic acid works for the breast or breasts.

Hyaluronic Acid Breast Augmentation Procedure

You already know how wonderful this natural substance is for the body. How well it works for many ailments and the great results it has in dermal fillers. However, for breast augmentation without surgery, hyaluronic acid is unfortunately not suitable.

We say this because it is a restriction imposed directly by the Ministry of Health in 2012. The goal is to improve women’s health and prevent defects in the anticipation of diseases. Now, all this has a very clear and specific reason.

Why can’t hyaluronic acid be used for the breast?

hyaluronic acid injection breastThe cause of the ban comes from a study that detects that saline injections can interfere with mammograms and physical exams for women. This interference can result in a false diagnosis in the detection of breast cancer. Note that it is not only hyaluronic acid for breast augmentation, but also all types of injections, whether for breast lift or size enhancement.

If you’ve ever heard of Macrolane, a well-known product in aesthetic surgery, it has also been discontinued for breast use as of the report’s date. However, it is still used in other body areas as it does not pose a risk. If you want to view the note from the Spanish Agency of Medicines and Health Products, you can do so here.

Are there other alternatives?

Currently, there are procedures without breast implants, such as breast augmentation with lipotransfer or autologous fat, and thread lifting. These techniques avoid using saline hyaluronate solutions and breast implants. Of course, mammoplasty remains the leading technique, although implants are included here. Below, we describe some techniques for breast enlargement that do not require implants.

Non-Surgical Breast Augmentation Techniques

Liposculpture or lipolifting: this involves injecting your own body fat to firm and add volume. This technique does not require implants as the mass is gained using your own material. The process can be divided into two main steps. The first is to extract excess fat from a localized and superficial area of the body, and the second is to inject it into the breasts. Between these steps, the material needs to be sterilized and treated, following various procedures. It is a relatively safe technique and has been gaining a lot of attention recently. You can increase breast size by one to two cup sizes. In this section, you can find information about liposculpture.

Thread lifting: this is more commonly used for processes to tighten the skin, such as facial lifting. It works by placing intradermal threads that hold and stretch the desired areas. In this way, it enhances facial features and even sagging breasts. It does not require hospitalization and lasts about 50 minutes. The material used for the threads is hypoallergenic.
