Properties of Pure Hyaluronic Acid on the Skin

For skin dehydration, pure hyaluronic acid is like a glove moistened with silk. There is nothing more rewarding and replenishing than nourishing the dermis with a nourishing surge full of beneficial properties.

With the summer and winter temperatures, our protection against the outside becomes weakened by the ravages of time. The skin suffers, resists, and eventually starts to crack.

Even in moderate climates like the Mediterranean, constant temperature changes and the scorching heat eventually take a toll on the skin layers. The sun, the beach, the salt. All these factors make our dermis scream for a moisturizer or, better yet, a pure hyaluronic acid serum that won’t leave any greasy residue.

Benefits and Characteristics of 100% Hyaluronic Acid

If you are looking for a pure product, you will need to buy hyaluronic acid in serum. Creams are a mixture of two or more products, and one of them is oil. So, no matter how you look at it, if you want it 100% pure, this is the format you should buy.

Pure Hyaluronic acid

In the case of pure hyaluronic acid, the goal is perfect hydration and regeneration of skin cells without feeling that oily sensation after application. It is the substance without additives and the knowledge that you are only applying products you are familiar with.

The most notable properties for the skin are:

  • Its effect is stronger and more immediate.
  • 100% hyaluronic acid is free of oil, without fragrances, colorants, or any additives that could negatively affect.
  • It penetrates the skin much faster than lower-quality blends because other components obstruct and clog pores or cause undesirable effects. Sometimes they can provide beneficial effects like collagen, but the potency of these effects is also lower than in its pure form. You must choose if you want a mix of qualities or the essence itself.
  • Reduces facial wrinkles. When applied regularly, it has beneficial effects against sagging cheeks, double chin, and nasolabial folds among others.
  • Softer and firmer skin. Due to its greater advancement in the dermis and its water retention capacity, it creates a temporary volumizing effect. The microscopic molecules interlace beneath the skin, pushing folds upwards, making marks fade and the skin feel more voluminous.
  • Combats and delays the appearance of new aged areas. When you start to notice the first signs of small wrinkles, applying pure product frequently will delay the formation of folds. The best remedy for eliminating wrinkles is preventing them from appearing.

Finally, remember that there are many products with vitamin C, collagen, and other components but that are not pure hyaluronic acid with the same properties. These products are different, although their qualities also help rejuvenate and improve the skin.

I find serums with 1% of this acid, others with 100%. I am already 70 years old; what is best for me?

The purer, the better, as with your age, you will notice fewer effects at lower concentrations due to skin aging. As we age, the body naturally produces less of it, so a good serum with hyaluronic acid will suit you better. Even if it is a bit more expensive, you will see that it works better.
